Guilt-Free Savory Low-Carb Burger Pizza
Staying on track with your nutritional goals can be difficult at times. Especially when tempted with your favorite foods – like pizza. But there are solutions to staying true to your goals and still enjoy delicious foods. You just need to get creative. For example: who says you need carbs for a crust? We can make a Savory Low-Carb Burger Pizza with a low-carb and delicious meat crust! Super easy to make and definitely keto friendly!
1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Pound Beef or Turkey
1 Teaspoon Garlic Seasoning/Powder
2-3 Egg Whites
1/2 Cup Pizza or Pasta Sauce (Lowest sodium one you can find)
1 1/2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese (Fat Free, Reduced Fat, or Full Fat all work)
Optional: Pepperoni Slices, Any other toppings you want
1. Take out a stove top pan, add in a little Olive Oil, and brown your Beef or Turkey over Medium-High heat (it should take around 5 minutes)
2. Drain your meat if there’s a lot of juice
3. Coat a pie dish with some non-stick cooking spray and add your browned meat into it while pressing down to shape your “meat crust”
4. Evenly distribute 2-3 Egg Whites into your meat crust
5. Add on your toppings
6. Bake it on 350F/176C for 25-30 minutes or until your cheese is melted
Makes 6 Servings
It tastes great cold the next day, just like real pizza!
If using additional toppings, be wise and keep them diet friendly
