5, 2002 Labrada Nutrition,
a Houston-based leader in sports and fitness nutrition, today announced
its joint marketing venture with In-Step Media, LLC. (ISM) to
cross brand Labrada products with "Mente y Cuerpo," a commercial
television health and fitness series produced by ISM for the global
Spanish marketplace.
"Mente
y Cuerpo," which stars famous Latin supermodel Daisy Fuentes and
respected fitness expert, Giselle Roque de Escobar, is currently airing
on three pan-regional ESPN cable networks to more than 14.6 million
subscribers in 43 markets. (Visit www.espndeportes.espn.go.com
for regional listings.) The program, which means "Mind and
Body," offers segments on cardiovascular conditioning and weight
training, along with diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and beauty tips.
In
addition, "Mente y Cuerpo" will be debuting on Terra.com
the worlds largest Spanish language Internet portal
next month marking the first time that U.S. Hispanic consumers will
be introduced to the program. End users will be treated to new videos
and articles each week, including Spanish versions of fitness expert
and former Mr. Universe Lee Labradas "Tip of the Week."
Labrada products will be made available with "Mente y Cuerpo"
memorabilia on a specially designed e-store that will be automatically
linked to the content featured in navigational channels focusing on
health, fashion, and issues that affect men, women, and teens.
Ultimately, Labrada products will also be featured on the boutique of
the official "Mente y Cuerpo" Web site (www.menteycuerpo.tv),
which serves program viewers in all of Latin America.
