7 Mistakes to avoid and get bigger arms

Who doesn’t see a greatest of muscular arms walking on the street or on the beach by a nice summer day and think they look amazing. Oh yeah, this is what I’m talking about here! Nice pair of “guns”!  But if you look closely around you, not a lot of people can say ‘mission accomplished’ from their workout!

Why aren’t they getting great arms?  What’s going wrong? A few things. First, so many people try to build their arms and focus way too much on their biceps. Did you know that the biceps is only 1/3 or your upper arms? Yes the other 2/3 is the triceps. If you look at someone with great arms, you probably don’t realize it, but this person has probably got some great triceps. You should give the same attention (if not more) to your triceps to build your arms.  By building good triceps your arms will look much bigger, and a lot of people will be envious of you for sure!

How can I get bigger?

I don’t know if you’re like me, but when I train at the gym I have one intention. It’s to build more muscles. I’m sure this is the same for you.

As a fitness coach and personal trainer I need to answer this question all the time:

How can I get bigger?

It’s easy if you follow some simple rules. You will be able to increase your muscles mass without increasing your body fat!

Heavy Lift

First rule on the list is you need to lift heavy weights to increase your muscle mass. When you challenge your muscles enough, you damage the tiny micro-fibers of the muscle. With the right nutrition and enough rest you repair the damage, and with this repair your muscles slowly grow. To get good results, make sure you challenge your muscles with intensity in your workout. If you take too long of a rest in between sets, your muscles will not get the intensity they need to be really challenged. I suggest taking only just enough time to catch your breath (around 30 to 45 sec.) and then start another set right away.

By the way if you have never tried Super Charge before a workout…go for it! You will see a whole different you at the gym! (more…)

Stretching for muscle growth?

When you read this title, you’re probably asking yourself what this guy is talking about. If you are, then this article is for you for sure.

You probably take your workout routine very seriously and do everything it takes to grow your muscle mass. You train hard, eat right, and sleep well to make sure you recover for the next training session.

But you probably don’t think to stretch, right? Stretching is for the ‘yoga freak’ you think. Not at all, my friend! If you want your muscles to grow as big as you want, you need to incorporate some stretching in your training session. Stretching is essential for building muscles. (more…)

Teen Bodybuilding Supplement Secrets Revealed

Bodybuilding supplements are actually a subcomponent of the nutrition component on the formula described above. That is the reason you do not see them as part of the formula. However, because I remember how curious and easily convinced (and misled) I was on this subject back when I was 14 years old, I decided to cover this topic first.
